Overview

The course is designed as per the EASA Part 66 basic training Category B2 requirements. B2 - Avionic stream will be predominantly associated with Electrical Power Systems, Aircraft Navigational and Instrument Systems, Communication etc, associating with Electrical, Instruments, and Radio equipment of the Aircraft.

Course certificates will beawarded to those who successfully complete all examinations, practical assessments and fulfil attendance requirements.


Entry Requirements

Local Students
  • Successful completionof GCE O/L (Local or London) with 6 passes including 4 Credit passes with creditfor Mathematics, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology etc.) in one sitting and aCredit Pass for English in any sitting

    and Two Credit passes at GCE A/L (Local orLondon) in Maths, Science & Engineering Technology stream, excluding General English. A credit pass for physics is mandatory for those who have completed GCE A/L (Local or London) in Maths or Science stream.

    OR

    Successful completion of Foundation Course in Aircraft Maintenance conducted by SLAC.

    OR

    Successful completion of Basic Course in Aircraft Maintenance Category A1 conducted by SLAC.

    OR

    Successful completion of GCE O/L (Local or London) with 6 passes including 4 Credit passes with credit for Mathematics, Science (Chemistry, Physics,Biology etc.) in one sitting and a Credit Pass for English in any sitting and a Degree from a recognize University in the fields of one of the following: Mechanical,Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Engineering, Aerospace Engineering


Overseas Students

  • Successful completion of GCE (O/L) with 6 passes with 4 credits or an equivalent qualification including passes for Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology etc.)& Mathematics and a credit pass for English and a score of 5 or more for all categories in the IELTS exam. (IELTS requirement will be waived off for the students who have followed G C E O/L in English medium.)

    OR

    Successful completion of Foundation Course in Aircraft Maintenance conducted by SLAC.
